Teacher Talk Japan
Call for Articles for Teacher Talk Japan, a new quarterly publication of The Teaching in Japan Page.

We envision this journal as a space where Japan-based teachers can share their thoughts about the current teaching scene in Japan: job conditions, current trends in hiring practices, and other general information; classroom activities that have proven to be successful with a given population of Japanese students; or more formal classroom-based research.

In some ways, we see Teacher Talk Japan as a more formal extension of the Teaching in Japan Discussion Forum.Ê Over the past several years, there have been some really informative posts on the forum, and we have a great cadre of regulars who visit the board; thus, we would like to provide a place for contributors to publish longer, more detailed articles, so if you are a Japan-based teacher and an aspiring writer, please consider submitting an article to Teacher Talk.

Please click on the links to the left to see the submission criteria for each section of Teacher Talk. Informal prose is welcome for the first two sections, so even if you have never published a teaching-related article, please take the time to read our call for submissions as we hope to hear from as diverse a population of Japan-based teachers as possible.
